2. Estimates & quotes
Estimates are free and provided for your convenience. Any estimate is based on the information available at the time and on a visual assessment of the project. Final pricing may change if the actual conditions, materials, or scope differ from what was assessed. No work begins until you approve the estimate and agree to proceed.
3. Scheduling & access
Scheduling depends on availability, weather, and site conditions (especially for exterior work). You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas to be painted, along with working electricity and water where needed. Delays caused by lack of access or unforeseen site conditions may affect the timeline and cost.
4. Payment
Payment terms are set out in your estimate or agreement. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due upon completion of the work. A deposit may be required for larger projects. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to collection as permitted by law.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the project and the property.
- Remove or protect valuable or fragile items before work begins, unless we agree otherwise.
- Inform us of any known hazards (for example, lead paint, mold, or structural issues).
- Confirm color selections and finishes before we proceed.
6. Warranty & workmanship
We stand behind our workmanship. Any specific warranty on labor is described in your estimate or agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by normal wear, moisture, structural movement, improper maintenance, or issues with surfaces or materials outside our control. Paint products are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
7. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been purchased or work has begun may be subject to charges for materials and labor already incurred.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WS Painting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a project will not exceed the amount paid by you for that project.
